We at LAN-IT 24 (Germany) are currently looking Desktop Support Specialist & Webcast and Event Support. Location : - Desktop Support Specialist (Munich , Geramny) Location : - Webcast and Event Support ( Wuerselen, Germany ) Start : ASAP Full time (Mon-Fri / 40 hour ) 100% Onsite (1) Responsibilities for Desktop Support Specialist : - · Complete detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates / individuals involved· Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns from clients or other employees· Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage· Organize and file documentation pertaining to warranties and instructional guides for computer hardware· Maintain a working log detailed all required system updates, as well as the date of completion· Attend in-person meetings with clients to analyze, troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems· Resolve technical issues related to network interruptions· Install and configure computer systems and applications within the company· Technical knowledge· Windows & Mac operating system knowledge· Advantage if Linux is there.
Not mandatory· Good knowledge on rebuilding Mac and Windows· Good knowledge about basic windows and Mac Troubleshooting· Able to troubleshoot audio video devices· Should have knowledge in hosting virtual meetingSkills : - · Minimum 3 years of experience in IT working as Telecom and Webcast technician· Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related discipline· Experience using collaboration and conferencing tools such as Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams· Experience with Vyopta, Synergy sky, Magic Info, Cisco TMS and Expressway is a plus· Technical, analytical, and presentation skills with a high degree of self-motivation and can-do attitude with strong MS office skills· Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adhere to tight deadlines· Resilient and result driven to meet the required deadlines· Proficiency in Both German and English required!(2) Webcast and Event Support : - · Run corporate webcasts and provide support for UC technologies such as Webex, Microsoft Teams and Cisco video conferencing.
Organization· Planning, executing, tracking multiple meetings· Ability to keep up to date on virtual event technology· Liaison between facilities, Booking team· Coordinating (Webcast production)· Scheduling and booking Attend in client meetings and conference calls to identify issues and make recommendations· Technical skills· Knowledge of current platforms and social media technology is a plus· Microsoft Teams, MS Live Events, Pearl 2, IBM (Ustream), Webex Meeting, WebEx Events, Jira, VC Systems· Video editing programs (Adobe Premiere Pro)· Video and audio CODECS· MS O365 Suite proficient· Proficiency with working with AV equipment, mixers, HD, and various support and trouble-ticket systems (Service Now).
