• Complete responsibility and accountability for the performance of their work areas.
• Accountable for delivering goals on all area KPIs including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Cost, and Compliance.
• Actively contributes to supporting all the necessary supporting functions to Operations including purchasing, supply chain management, quality, etc. offering feedback on improvements.
• Active contribution to the Global Continuous Improvement initiative specifically Kaizen Events, 5S, CI Projects, QA Initiative, and suggestions.
• Communicates and delivers all required reports, metrics/data, and updates to branch manager and senior management in a timely, concise, and professional manner.
• Handle all disciplinary and accountability issues based on policy and the collective bargaining agreement
• Serves as a mentor to the developing staff members.
• Verbal leadership and guidance on the principle initiatives and projects including the Safety Committee, Quality Initiatives, and CI Projects
• Documented performance management and accountability system for all subordinates with results and evaluation twice a year
• Execute training plan for all area staff with a quest to develop a compliant, value added, and world-class staff
• Other duties as assigned

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physical Science or Business is preferred. 

Work Experience

• 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• 5 years’ experience as a Plant/Operations Manager

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to access and navigate the production facility.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
