Lamers Dairy, a family owned & operated fluid dairy processor & distributor, is looking to add a Part-Time Associate to our Retail Store staff! This is a perfect job opportunity for a high school or college student.

Primary Job Duties:

Ensure that every customer receives exceptional service by providing a friendly environment which includes consistent and friendly customer interaction, strong product knowledge, a clean and organized store. Other aspects include stocking both on the floor and in a cooler, serving ice cream and all other aspects of customer service in a retail environment. Should have the ability to see things that need to be done and take the initiative to do them as well as take direction from others. You must also be able to multi-task and shift focus while remaining calm and organized.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must be available to start the end of May or beginning of June 2024.
• Prefer candidates at least 16 years old.
• Ability to operate all store equipment necessary to run the store.
• Ability to communicate clearly and politely with associates and guests.
• Ability to read, count, perform basic math, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
• Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store weighing up to 40lbs as well as push/pull carts of product weighing up to 200 lbs.
• Ability to bend and kneel as needed to stock shelves and clean store.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, cooler, storage rooms, and register area.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates including hours between 3:30 - 6pm Monday – Friday during the school year, hours between 9am – 6pm Monday – Friday during the summer/school breaks, and at least 2 Saturdays per month year-round.
