Lambert, Zainey, Smith & Soso is Hiring a Paralegal Near Orleans, LA
A nationally recognized New Orleans law firm is seeking a paralegal with personal injury litigation experience. The candidate will assist the firm by providing clerical and research support including document preparation/review, electronic filing, calendar management, data collection and consolidation.
Job Type: Full-time (in person), salary commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with attorneys and firm staff, clients, and third-party professionals to advance assigned cases or projects.
- Draft and proof legal documents such as routine pleadings and discovery.
- File pleadings (CM/ECF & PACER) in multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage calendars to monitor key dates/events/appointments to never miss a deadline.
- Manage calendar for client’s medical treatment to include scheduling of medical appointments, obtaining medical and billing records, and preparation of medical and billing summary reports.
- Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case information including evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, mediation and/or settlement conferences, which may include attending trials or hearings.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and possess a familiarity with legal communications etiquette.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor or Associate degree in Paralegal Studies preferred.
- 5 years’ experience preferred.
