Crescent City Law (CCL) is a rapidly growing law firm in the New Orleans area which is seeking an experienced criminal paralegal to assist our attorneys in helping our clients. We are looking for someone who has compassion and empathy for the population we serve and a knack for helping to prepare winning cases. We want to create an all-star team, so we will provide you with training, guidance, compensation, and benefits commensurate with your experience.
CCL represents the accused in criminal courts. We help people hide their criminal records with expungements. We also help people who have been injured because of an accident recover compensation for their injuries. An ideal candidate will have experience with both criminal and civil cases but prefer criminal defense.
Customer Service and Clear Communication are important to the firm owner and to our clients. We strive to deliver an experience that is above and beyond that of our competitors! We want you to be so awesome that you have a cult of raving fan clients.
An ideal candidate will have experience with both criminal and civil case, but prefers criminal defense with 2-5 years’ experience. You’ll assist our attorneys in the preparation of criminal defense, expungement, and civil. Our paralegals have direct contact with our clients. You will get the job done accurately, complete tasks with minimal oversight, and provide the firm with at least 30-billable hours per week of client work.
If you believe CCL is the right place to bring your unique set of skills, and a place where you will be rewarded for them, then please apply.
Compensation:$30 hourly
Responsibilities:At Crescent City Law, LLC, we help people avoid the serious consequences of a criminal conviction. We opened in 2010 and started the firm by representing the accused with traffic tickets. Later, we expanded our practice to criminal courts-both after during the trial phase and hiding criminal records with expungements-so our clients can live better lives. While about 80% of our work is in the defense of the accused, about 25% of our revenue is earned by helping people recover from the injuries they suffered as a result of an accident where someone else was at fault.
We are rapidly growing. Our gross revenue grew over 100% in 2021, an additional 31.6% growth in 2022, and we're on track to grow another 30% in 2023. We need a star who can play many positions and help us grow the firm.
