Crowne Plaza Knoxville Downtown University in Knoxville, TN is looking for one laundry attendant to join our team. We are located on 401 W. Summit Hill Drive. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the cleanliness of the hotel’s linen supply

o Sorts laundry prior to washing

o Pulls damaged and/or stained linen prior to loading the washing

o Loads washers and dryers to recommended weights

o Saves energy by setting dryers for proper heating and cooling times

o Uses equipment and chemicals in accordance with hotel’s safety procedures

o Informs supervisor of any equipment failures or supply shortage

o Presses linens

o Folds linens and uniforms and stores properly

• Adheres to hotel policies and procedures

o Attends work on time as scheduled

o Follows safety and security rules and procedures

• Ability to perform considerable amounts of physical activity on a continual basis
