Responsibilities:
Comfortable working Sauté and Grill
Ability to prepare all dishes with speed, accuracy, and consistent presentation
Solid knowledge of cooking procedures, measurements, and culinary terms
Fast and accurate knife skills
Making sure station is prepped and ready for service
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Strong communication and leadership traits - ability to follow direction
Willingness to assist in all areas when necessary, learn new skills, and seek opportunities for growth
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and working area
Reports to: Executive Sous Chef/Executive Chef
Supervision of: Cooks and Utility Staff, as required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: The Lakewood Country Club offers a competitive compensation plan for the right candidate, including hourly pay from $19-24 commensurate with experience and demonstrated accomplishments, vacation/PTO, health/vision/dental insurance, 401K, golfing privileges, and daily employee meals.
