Lakewood Brewing Company is looking for a motivated and proactive individual to join our team! The line cook will work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure a fabulous guest experience by ensuring all food meets or exceeds our guests’ expectations. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for both assisting with the preparation of food and making sure it's delivered to the customer. Candidate will learn the processes of both the kitchen and the taproom as business dictates, either helping in the kitchen to produce food or being in the taproom to help run it. 

This is a Part-Time role working 16-25 Hours a week on the weekends on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and consistency of all food preparation, while being mindful of speed and presentation
• Plate quickly and accurately
• Move swiftly from one dish to the next
• Ensure the final plate matches what the guest ordered
• Experience with vegetable and sauce preparation 
• Knowledge of food safety, including storing food properly, paying attention to guests’ allergies, and always washing your hands
• Daily commitment to time management, organization, and interpersonal skills

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job: Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and move 165 lb. kegs of beer. Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend repeatedly throughout shift.
