The Mountain View Union Elementary School District is seeking two dynamic and innovative teachers with an elementary teaching license or the ability to obtain one to join its team. The grade assignments for these positions are expected to be in the early elementary grades at Lakeview Elementary School. Lakeview Elementary School is committed to working closely with our many community partners to provide a rich educational experience for our students. We have a robust winter wellness program and frequently work in collaboration with the Greensboro Free Library, Highland Center for the Arts and other local artists.The ideal candidate will have a: - Passion for inspiring and working with elementary students- Strong understanding of child development, growth mindset, and trauma-informed practices- Commitment to building strong relationships, preventative classroom management, and active differentiation. - Working knowledge of researched supported best practices for early literacy instruction- Working knowledge of Bridges MathematicsMountain View Union Elementary School District (or Mountain View) is comprised of the towns of Hardwick, Woodbury, Greensboro, and Stannard. Students typically attend the town in which they reside, with Stannard students attending on the Greensboro campus. School choice is an option within Mountain View. Lakeview Elementary School is located in Greensboro, VT, and serves students in grades K-6. The school population is approximately 30 students. All classrooms are multiage.
