The Mountain View Union Elementary School District is seeking a dynamic Early Childhood Educator with teaching experience. Applicants should be knowledgeable in developmentally appropriate instructional practices, educational assessments, and the Vermont Early Learning Standards (VELS). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1. Know and be responsible for the CDD Licensing Regs and taking related training (Emergency Response training, Medication Administration Training, Pediatric FA/CPR, mandated reporter training, Better Care Kid training/OSSU basic training);2. Understand and comply with Act 166 Requirements as a Prequalified Public PK and related documentation and assurances and provide evidence to the Early Ed Coordinator.3. Maintain and renew (every 3 years) the License to Operate a Child Care through CDD.4. Maintain and renew (every 3 years) and ensure the practices needed to maintain 4 STARS to keep the ACT 166 status.4. Record keeping related to TS Gold and maintaining Inter-rater Reliability Certification for TS Gold (multi-hour training every 3 years)assessment, family-centered services, service coordination, direct services, and collaborative consultationwith staff, parents, agency personnel, and administrators.Mountain View Union Elementary School District (or Mountain View) is comprised of the towns of Hardwick, Woodbury, Greensboro and Stannard. Students typically attend the town in which they reside, with Stannard students attending on the Greensboro campus. School choice is an option within Mountain View. Lakeview Elementary School is located in Greensboro, VT, and serves students in grades K-6. The school population is approximately 25 students.
