Lakeside Neurologic is Hiring a Project Manager Near Wauchula, FL

We are excited to announce that we are accepting resumes and applications for the Project Manager at Lakeside Neurologic. If you are an individual that is self-motivated, with passion for helping others achieve opportunities and goals, then Lakeside Neurologic needs you on our team. We are leaders in rehabilitation for brain and spinal cord injury, behavioral health and skilled nursing care.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, procurement, execution and completion of the facility projects. The Project Manager is in charge of the entire project and will handle everything involved such as the project scope, managing the project team members when applicable, as well as the resources assigned throughout the lifecycle of the project development to its completion. Will be responsible for the overall financial success of the assigned projects.

Essential Functions

  • Create long and short terms plans for each project, including setting targets, milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on projects as needed for financing for the project changes.
  • Work with contracted vendors on new and existing builds and projects; which can include building renovations and enhancing the facility grounds.
  • Oversee Request for Information (RFI) / Request for Proposal (RFP) and project bids for any new and updated projects.
  • Manage budgeting, estimating and bid negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships with assigned accounts and contacts.
  • Identify areas of opportunity and take leadership to implement process changes in a positive and effective manner.
  • Perform daily quality control inspections to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
  • Manager day-to-day operations effectively and efficiently to ensure the work is performed in accordance with the contracts.
  • Ensure that all projects are aligned with the company’s standards and expectations of outcomes.
  • Report variances form plan, appraising impact of variances, recommending corrective actions.
  • Allocate resources as needed for assigned projects.
  • Appy for and obtain permits when necessary.
  • Work on special projections as assigned.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
  • Perform project closeout activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

Required Education and Experience:

  • 4-year college degree construction, engineering practice or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of local building and or engineering codes
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
