A Colorado law firm is looking for a Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join their team in their Denver, CO office. Industry-leading compensation and comprehensive benefits offered!
Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage workers' compensation and insurance defense cases from inception through trial/settlement
- Legal research, client communication
- Discovery and trial preparation
- Draft pleadings, briefs, and settlement proposals
- E-filing in CO state courts
- Some federal and appellate filing
Qualifications:
- 2 years of Workers' Compensation Paralegal experience
- Paralegal certificate - preferred
- Positive attitude and team player
- Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to commute to the firm's office daily in Denver Tech Center
- Will be able to work from home one day per week once up and running
Salary Range: $65-$75k/yr.
