Position Title and Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the management and/or administration of programs and initiatives related to the acquisition of talent across the organization. This role works directly and closely with the hiring managers, candidates, and the like to ensure the success against departmental goals as well as the broader company goals and strategic direction.

VP of Talent Acquisition

Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers, leaders, stakeholders, and candidates to drive full lifecycle recruiting from placing advertisements, sourcing resumes, pre-screening applicants, scheduling onsite interview, background checks, reference checks, offer letters, and managing the selection process
  • Liaise with community organizations, professional associations, universities, colleges, and broader business community by building relationships that drive candidate pipeline and employment brand
  • Communicate effectively with the interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process
  • Provide an efficient and professional experience for every candidate from application stage to offer
  • Partner with hiring managers in the decision making process
  • Participate in projects that include collecting and analyzing data as well as making recommendations related to market trends, talent acquisition, and employment branding
  • Part of championing the company culture, connecting values, priorities, employment brand, and overall candidate experience
  • Assist with managing the company’s Applicant Tracking System and processes

Qualifications / Knowledge / Critical Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Recruiting experience supporting a variety of functions and geographies required
  • Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating skills
  • Experience consulting with hiring managers to assist them with scoping the job, create/update job descriptions, and determine recruitment strategy
  • Previous experience managing candidates and the offer process through an Applicant Tracking System
  • Ability to influence and guide managers to leverage best practices in hiring
  • Self-motivated with excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Deadline and results-driven
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration, ability to partner and collaborate with key stakeholders, external vendors, and customers while preserving confidential information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
  • Occasionally required to stand and walk
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Some regional travel required
