Position Summary
Summary: Performs all general duties of separating clean/soiled-wet textiles to a clean dry finished product. Sorts soiled textiles to appropriate categories and prepares/weighs loads of soiled linen for processing.

Standard Work Duties: Linen Worker
Sorts clean-wet/dry textiles by type of item, preparing items to be available for being ironed/folded when needed.
Iron and fold clean textiles by operating ironer/folder equipment.
Hand fold and stack textile items to meet standard production rates.
Inspect each textile item visually to pass our quality control measures during routine handling ensuring items which are unacceptable for use will be rejected.
Operates all required production equipment, demonstrating understanding of of how to use efficiently and safely.
Sort soiled linen to appropriate categories ensuring separated items are available for washing in an efficient manner.
Demonstrate appropriate use of protective equipment while handling soiled linen.
Performs all laundry production duties in a timely manner ensuring there is adequate textile product available to replenish carts at required par levels.
