Bok Academy South Middle School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team for the 24-25 school year. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and interactive learning environment for students. You will have the opportunity to inspire young minds and foster a love for science through innovative teaching methods and hands-on experiments. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create engaging and interactive classroom activities to promote student participation and understanding
- Utilize instructional technology to enhance the learning experience
- Assess student performance through various methods such as exams, projects, and presentations
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities
- Stay updated on advancements in scientific research and incorporate relevant information into lessons
- Mentor students who show a particular interest or talent in science
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification in Science
- Proven experience in classroom management and working with students of various ages
- Strong knowledge of scientific concepts, including molecular biology, differential equations, and other relevant topics
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in instructional design principles and curriculum development
- Familiarity with learning technologies, such as online platforms and educational software
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
