Job Summary:

Bok Academy North seeks passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teachers to join our team for the 24-25 school year.

We participate in the FRS retirement system.

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students, fostering their understanding and appreciation of mathematics. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Teach various mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and discrete math
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in active learning
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special education needs
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop instructional materials and share best practices
- Utilize learning technology to enhance instruction and student learning experience
- Provide tutoring or additional support to students outside of regular class hours

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and discrete math
- Ability to effectively teach and explain complex mathematical concepts to students of varying abilities
- Experience working with students with special education needs is preferred
- Proficient in using learning technology tools to enhance instruction
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to proofread mathematical content for accuracy

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Teaching certification or license in Mathematics (required)
- Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
