Perform maintenance and construction work on the college physical facilities.Essential Job Functions :
- Operation of Power Plant and associated equipment.
- Record keeping on water treatment chillers generators and power plant equipment.
- Perform all types of repairs on mechanical electrical pneumatic and HVAC equipment.
- Assist in determining needs and submit purchase requests for parts and equipment.
- Assist in planning and carrying out of maintenance preventive maintenance and construction programs.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent,plus specialized maintenance training.
Experience Requirements
Three years in maintenance.Must be able to obtain a class D license.
Knowledge
Electrical,mechanical,plumbing,carpentry trades,and state and local building code requirements through experience and / or specialized training.
Knowledge of Energy Management computer and HVAC controls.
Skills
Ability to perform electrical,mechanical,plumbing and carpentry work.
Personal Requirements
Ability to get along with others.
