As a Flat Glass Fabricator with us, you’ll play a crucial role in producing top-tier glass products while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

Flat Glass Fabrication:

• Operate and maintain hand tools and machinery for cutting, edging, polishing, and drilling glass and metal products according to specifications.
• Ensure accurate measurements and quality checks throughout the fabrication process.
• Handle glass with care to prevent damage and maintain safety standards.

Quality Control:

• Conduct thorough inspections of fabricated glass products to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
• Document any defects or discrepancies and collaborate with the team to implement corrective measures.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail to deliver flawless products to our customers.

Receiving:

• Receive incoming shipments of glass and other materials.
• Inspect received materials for quality and accuracy.
• Properly label, store, and organize materials in designated areas.
• Communicate any discrepancies or issues with received materials to the appropriate team members.
• Assist in inventory management, including tracking supplies and materials needed for production.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
• Participate in regular safety training sessions and contribute to a culture of safety awareness.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with team members to coordinate fabrication schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, providing updates on progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Assist with installation projects when extra help is required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in flat glass fabrication or a related field.
• Familiarity with glass cutting, edging, and polishing.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Excellent organizational skills with a commitment to cleanliness in the workplace.
• Understanding of safety procedures and protocols.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
