We are hiring an additional Oral Surgery Clinical Dental Assistant for our growing specialty practice. Initial Hours will be approximately 8am - 12pm (Monday - Friday) with possibility of Full time hours in the future.

Experience is a plus but we WILL train if you are motivated and want to learn a new career.

Surgical Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

• Preparing patients for dental work / Oral Surgery
• Maintaining infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments
• Setting up surgical instrument trays, and preparing materials
• Assisting doctor during procedures
• Recording treatment information in patient electronic records
• Exposing dental x-rays
• Collecting and recording medical and dental histories
• Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory

Dental Assistant Requirements:

• Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assistant program (Preferred- But will provide on-the-job training if motivated)
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
• Good verbal communication skills
• Consistently professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to provide great patient care

This position may also require Administrative duties.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 – 22 per week
