Lake Forest School District 67 is seeking August Summer School Teachers to support students in developing Executive Functioning Skills. The compensation is $50/hour for instruction and $25/hour for planning. Please see the attached Summer School schedule.
Description: The Summer Learning Executive Functioning Teacher assists students in developing the functional skills they need to be successful learners. The Executive Functioning Teacher works with students individually, in small groups, and in a co-taught setting. The Executive Functioning Teacher personalizes functional skills instruction to help each child grow and be successful. Experience supporting students with academic needs and serving as a resource to general education teachers strongly preferred.
The Summer Learning Teacher will:

• Collaborate with each student to develop a deeper understanding of executive functioning skills.
• Develop daily lesson plans that provide academic support and preserve social emotional well-being for students.
• Communicate with students and parents/guardians regularly.
• Communicate the need for additional resources and student support to the Director of Teaching and Learning.
