Golf Course Irrigation Tech

Salary will commensurate with experience.

Lake Forest Country Club has an immediate opening for a full-time Irrigation Tech. One year of golf course irrigation experience is required.

Reports to Golf Course Superintendent

Job Duties:

• Perform preventative maintenance on the irrigation system
• Determine wet and dry areas for adjustments of heads
• Operate, maintain, and repair intricate irrigation system including leaks on distribution lines, valve risers, electrical system, and computer and irrigation wire
• Must be able to use wire troubleshooting equipment such as wire trackers
• Maintain a log of completed repairs
• Inventory and stock all irrigation parts and tools to minimize downtime
• Prioritize irrigation breaks, routinely inspect irrigation components to ensure the system is functioning properly
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• Perform other maintenance duties as required (hand watering, mowing, irrigating, setup of the golf course)
• Must have a valid driver's license
