Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Collection Agent to join our team. As a Collection Agent, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable. Your primary goal will be to ensure timely payment and maintain positive relationships with our clients.
Duties:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to collect outstanding payments
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers
- Update customer records and account information
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation
- Review and analyze delinquent accounts for potential legal action
- Verification of application, and all references.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries regarding their accounts
- Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities via excel spreadsheets
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Collection Agent or similar role
- Knowledge of accounts payable, debits, credits, and revenue cycle management
- Strong mathematical skills for account analysis and reconciliation
- Familiarity IDMS by dealersocket
-Experience in Paynear me portal, and Converge portal
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet collection targets
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
