Job Overview:
In this position, your focus will be on ensuring students feel relaxed and supported to excel in their CUNY Placement Tests (CATs), and other assessments. Joining our team of higher education testing proctors presents an exciting chance to positively influence first-time college students. We provide training for the exams we administer, offer a flexible work schedule, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
Ensuring the security of tests is maintained.

• Setting up testing rooms and overseeing test sessions.

• Regularly monitoring the exam room to prevent cheating and ensure compliance with instructions.

• Managing test timing and ensuring standardization of testing procedures.

• Developing strong working relationships with testing staff, students, and administrators.

• Performing clerical duties such as filing, responding to student inquiries, data entry, and any other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess strong verbal communication skills to deliver instructions effectively, excellent time management abilities, and a keen eye for detail. They should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within the guidelines provided by the Associate Director of Testing.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $17.01 per hour
