Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Expeditor to join our team. As an Expeditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of operations in our establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and communicate between the kitchen and front of house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders to customers.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders

- Communicate with servers and other front of house staff to ensure accurate order information

- Monitor food quality and presentation before it is served to customers

- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expediting area

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to prioritize orders during busy periods

- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting

- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
