Food Service Director

The Laconia School District is seeking applicants for the position of Food Service Director for the Laconia School District. The Laconia School District is located in the heart of the Lakes Region of New Hampshire in a single-city district consisting of three (3) elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school that serves approximately 1900 students. All of the schools in the district are within a 2.6 mile, 7 minute driving radius. The Food Service Director oversees the kitchen operations in these five (5) schools for breakfast, lunch, and after school meals in compliance with state and federal regulations. Job responsibilities include ordering food and supplies, reporting to state and federal entities, maintaining equipment, and operating five (5) US Department of Agriculture (USDA) programs: National School Lunch, School Breakfast, After School Snack, After School Supper and Fresh Fruit and Vegetable programs. This is a full-time position with a 210 day contract. We are looking for a community-minded candidate to work collaboratively with kitchen managers and staff to promote a collegial and welcoming environment in our SAU and our schools.
