We are currently seeking a Technical Service Advisor to provide technical support and training for the service department and our customers.

In this role, you will:

• Provide technical support to customers and technicians.
• Develop and maintain relationships and communications with dealers and technicians to help with technical questions/issues.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager to customize service solutions to meet the needs of our customers.
• Develop strong working relationships with all major engine and product vendor engineering and Service Dealer Networks to ensure the service and support of our customers anywhere they operate.
• Perform failure analysis and develop root cause analysis reports as required.
• Provide internal and external technician training both onsite and at offsite locations.
• Perform “on-the-job” training and assistance as needed.
• Participate in highly technical field jobs (i.e., commissioning) as service requires.
• May perform other duties as required by business needs.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Technical degree from a diesel academy preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

What you can expect as a Technical Service Advisor:

• This position operates in both an office and industrial/marine environment.
• Regularly works around mechanical equipment and may be exposed to high noise levels at times.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crawl, and climb ladders.
• Required to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
