Regional Account Manager - Medical Laboratory – West Palm Beach, FL

As a successful Regional Account Manager, you will spearhead the expansion of our diagnostic and laboratory testing services within the Long-Term Care/Senior Living sector. In this pivotal role, you will engage with assisted living communities and physician provider groups in a designated territory, promoting our diagnostic lab testing and ensuring unparalleled customer support. You will leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace our lab services and technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, high-energy professional who is looking to build a territory and make a difference in senior living space.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 3 years’ experience in selling lab services and/or establishing lasting relationships within Long Term Care Communities or Provider Groups that service them.

• Proven track record of sales success

• Persistence in meeting Sales Goals.

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Pleasant demeanor with a compassionate approach to clients' needs

• Self-driven entrepreneurial individual with a robust work ethic

Basic Functions:

• Identifies, targets, engages and qualifies new accounts.

• Initiates sales process by developing sales cycle, cold and follow-up call frequency, scheduling appointments, making initial presentation, and signing accounts.

• Understands account needs, constantly works on retention of customers, and ensures steady flow of business. Increases the profitability of existing accounts by analyzing profitability, product and service portfolio and communicating ongoing plans with customers.

• Builds relationships at multiple levels within the account (e.g., physician, office staff); with internal support staff and with operations to maximize efficiency of processes.

• Expands sales in existing accounts by introducing new tests and services.

• Implements value centric selling systems on all sales calls, develops the "Why LabFlorida" message and knowledge of all connectivity products (web portal, electronic orders, etc.)

• Proactive and always in the know of what's new in the field.

• Recommends new niches and opportunities and identifies needs to be filled.
