Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Carpenter Helpers to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist carpenters in various tasks and gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.
Duties:
- Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Operate and maintain hand and power tools under supervision
- Help with installing structures such as windows, doors, and cabinets
- Support in repairing or restoring damaged structures
- Learn and apply basic carpentry techniques
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Basic knowledge of carpentry principles
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction
- Familiarity with blueprint reading is a plus
- Knowledge of electrical work, trim carpentry, masonry, or water damage restoration is advantageous
- 2 plus years experience in commercial construction
- Able to commit to 3-4 weeks
- Able to pass background and drug screen
