Operating Box Trucks: Drive box trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and regulations.
Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload goods from the truck, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques to prevent damage to products and injury to oneself and others.
Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely delivery, considering factors such as traffic, weather conditions, and delivery schedules.
Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to customers during deliveries, including assisting with the unloading of goods and addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations governing the transportation of goods. Ensure compliance with safety standards at all times.
Communication: Maintain open communication with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate schedules, report delays or issues, and ensure efficient operations.
A DOT & 7 year Motor Vehicle Record are required for this position.
