Job Title: Warehouse Associate / Equipment Maintenance Technician

Base Job Requirements:
Scope: The Warehouse Associate / Equipment Maintenance Technician will be responsible for managing the fulfillment operation including office management, warehouse management, order fulfillment, receipt of incoming product, inventory management, kitting projects and other duties as required. The associate will also perform maintenance and repair on internal warehouse and customer labeling and packaging equipment.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Order Management
Processing Daily Orders:
1. Follow procedures and process daily orders including labels, packing slips, bills of lading
2. Pick and Pack all orders.
3. Load truck with forklift.
4. After shipment is complete, email spreadsheet with Pro #’s on it to Bradford so that invoicing can be completed.
Receive incoming shipments:
1. Remove packing slip and count incoming shipments. Note ANY discrepancies.
2. Scan packing slips and email a copy to Bradford.
3. Label incoming cartons as required.
4. Place new stock on shelves daily making sure to use OLD inventory first.
Warehouse Management
1. Maintain warehouse and packaging supplies inventories as required.
2. Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
3. Follow and enforce all warehouse safety procedures for anyone entering warehouse.
4. Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with ERP system.
5. Maintain physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
6. Maintain a clean and orderly environment, clean floors weekly.
Equipment Maintenance and Repair - Internal
1. Inspect and maintain all warehouse equipment including forklift, loading dock, printers, scales and other equipment.
2. Assist office employees with equipment repair and maintenance.
3. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
4. Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
5. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Equipment Maintenance and Repair – Customer
1. Travel to customer locations and install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
2. Perform preventive maintenance.
3. Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
4. Dismantle machinery and remove/replace defective parts.
5. Determine changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
6. Maintain inventories of equipment parts and supplies as necessary.
7. Train customer personnel on equipment operation and routine preventive maintenance.
8. Provide mechanical maintenance information by phone and email answering questions and requests.
9. Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
Other responsibilities:
1. Answer phone and field customer calls.
2. Send daily updates to corporate office.
3. Perform deliveries.
4. Become familiar with label printers and application equipment as necessary.
5. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
