Job Title: Director of Supply Chain

Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or equivalent
• 10 years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably sheet metal
• Ability to utilize supply chain analytics in decision-making.
• Project experience, ability to work independently.
• Strong understanding of ERP, safety stock modeling, and forecasting
• Advanced Excel skills
• APICS, ISM, Lean, or Six Sigma certification a plus

• Responsible for developing detailed category strategies.
• Direct all aspects of the organization's supply chain management and operations, including procurement, vendor relations, supplier quality, sole sourcing, and new product development procurement.
• Responsible for overall continuity of supply and active risk mitigation. Work with manufacturing to resolve, quality, delivery, capacity, and other issues as required.
• Report on supplier and commodity market analysis by monitoring supply chain trends.
• Define and regularly communicate the commodity strategy to senior staff.
• Evaluate current and new suppliers to develop and improve service levels in search of continuous improvements regarding total cost and efficiency as well as minimizing sole source suppliers.
• Ensure alignment of category strategies to business requirements and objectives.
• Conduct supplier contract negotiation, supplier selection, and contract lifecycle management.
• Champion supplier development and regular business reviews.
• Analysis of make vs buy decisions.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
