The general manager of Operations is a crucial role in the company’s success and is responsible for the overall management of two truck stop operations here in Port Allen, LA. Must ensure compliance with all state and local laws.

• Manage entire store operations of both locations.
• Ensure and promote a safe workplace and safe product handling.
• Provide a high level of retail and food safety execution.
• Ensure the store is kept clean and well maintained.
• Make sure equipment and facilities are in good working order.
• Inventory control with audits and tracking.
• Must have moderate to advanced computer skills.
• Financial knowledge, having the ability to read and interpret P&Ls.
• Motivate, lead, and advise store managers.
• Foodservice knowledge and experience.
• Create promos for both stores.
• Merchandise store to boost sales.
• Compose annual budgets and reporting of budget achievements.
• Evaluate and arrange advertising and market stores locally.

Requirements

• Experience in general management of convenience stores, truck stops, or other like industries.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to repeatedly bend, stand, twist, kneel, crouch, pull, push, carry, grasp, reach, and stoop as needed, with infrequent breaks.

Desired Qualifications:

• Technologically savvy
• Expert in Excel and all Microsoft Suite
• 2-year associates degree or higher in a business field of study

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
