Welcome to our dental family! As a Part-Time Dental Front Desk Receptionist (preferably Wednesdays and Thrusdays), you'll play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our patients. Your friendly smile and can-do attitude will help ensure our dental practice runs smoothly by handling administrative tasks and providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
Patient Check-In and Check-Out:
  • Greet patients with a big, friendly hello as they arrive and check them in.
  • Make sure patient information is up to date and assist with any updates needed.
  • Be a pro at collecting payments during check-out.
Appointment Scheduling:
  • Help patients find convenient appointment times while keeping our dental team's schedules in mind.
  • Confirm upcoming appointments and manage our appointment calendar like a pro.
  • Be the superhero who juggles appointments when changes are needed.
Friendly Communication:
  • Answer phone calls with a smile in your voice and provide answers and assistance with a friendly touch.
  • Keep our email inbox in check, making sure messages get to the right team members.
Patient Records and Forms:
  • Keep patient records accurate and organized, and ensure all forms are completed properly.
  • Help patients with any forms they need to fill out, making the process a breeze.
  • Keep everything organized and safe.
Insurance Assistance:
  • Help patients understand their insurance coverage and eligibility.
  • Handle insurance claims like a champ, and follow up when needed.
  • Explain costs and benefits to patients, making it easy to understand.
Financial Wizardry:
  • Prepare billing statements with a smile.
  • Handle payments securely and efficiently.
  • Keep our financial records in tip-top shape.
Office Zen:
  • Keep our front desk area clean and inviting.
  • Keep us stocked with supplies so we're always ready.
  • Be the go-to person for miscellaneous tasks like filing and photocopying.
Patient Happiness:
  • Make sure every patient feels like a VIP.
  • Listen and address their concerns, and if needed, let the right people know.
  • Turn unhappy patients into happy ones with your friendly problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
  • Your friendly personality and a desire to make patients smile.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a dental or medical front desk role is a bonus.
