Job Summary:

LA Semiconductor is seeking a qualified IT support technician to assist our customers with questions and problems concerning computer systems, hardware, and software. The technician will work with team members in real time, guiding them through systems configuration and troubleshooting, while aiming to resolve issues with efficiency. Standout candidates will be excellent problem-solvers with outstanding communication and customer service skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide quick and effective assistance with information technology systems
• Guide customers remotely and in person through items such as systems configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Listen attentively to customers’ questions and concerns and offer optimal solutions
• Prioritize customer satisfaction in all communications, directing unresolved issues to next-level personnel & communicate feedback to appropriate internal team members
• Work with senior engineers to provide customers with superior service
• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity while helping to advance our company mission
• Respond to tech inquiries via email, through online chats, over the phone, or in person
• Inform customers about IT products and services
• Walk customers step-by-step through the problem-solving process, seeing it through to 100% completion
• Help with troubleshooting hardware and software
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory service

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Able to perform work in a tie back suit as some work will be conducted in a cleanroom environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of computer systems and experience troubleshooting hardware and software, including (but not limited to) Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Linux, desktops, and laptops
• The ability to break down technological processes and deliver clear, step-by-step instructions

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Ability to work in a team environment and Individuals must be self-motivated and able to interface effectively with other groups and maintain organization with ability to prioritize one's tasks.

Education and Experience:

• Associates degree or Certificate of Completion in an IT related field.
• Applicable experience may be substituted for a degree, 3 years of working in an IT help desk position or similar IT related role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
