Laquinta Inn & Suites is a reputable and thriving hotel known for providing exceptional guest experiences. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to the overall upkeep of our facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Fabricate and weld components as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for specialized repairs or projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols

Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
- Experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Knowledge of logic controllers and other automation systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise maintenance staff or contractors
- Customer service-oriented mindset to address maintenance requests promptly and professionally

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
