What’s a typical day as Maintenance Technician? You’ll be :
- Troubleshooting, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining mechanical systems
- Working safely with electricity and other energy sources
- Applying high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship
- Performing preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
- Identifying and reducing manufacturing constraints
- Participating in continuous improvement activities
- Communicating effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
Have 3 yrs related work experience and a 2-year Technical Degree in any of the following : machine repair, electrical or tool design
OR have 7 yrs related work experience OR 4 yrs on the job apprenticeship and 1 yr related work experience
- Have a high mechanical aptitude
- Have a basic understanding of electrical principles and troubleshooting methods
- Have experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and CNC
