L&S Mechanical is Hiring an Electrical Service Technician (FT) Near San Antonio, TX
- Perform residential warranty and service work. Diagnosis and repair of electrical systems including camera doorbells, Smart switches, fan controls and arch faults and GFI circuit breakers.
- All work is done according to the National Electrical Code and shortcuts are not allowed. We do the right thing.
- Communicate with the Service manager and dispatch.
- Daily work in people’s homes in a professional manner and display a high level of communication skills.
- Utilize iPad/tablet to enter service call solutions and acquire daily schedules for reviewing and planning efficient workday routes.
- Work alongside industry experts to expand trade knowledge and experience.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- 3 years prior electrical warranty and service work for the residential construction industry.
- Current Wireman or Journeyman level license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Perform the physical demands of the position: working in indoor and outdoor elements with extreme variation in temperatures and weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow); climbing ladders and steep stairs, crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching; able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds, and pushing and pulling of objects.
