Job Summary:
As Dispatch Manager, you will be responsible for directing a team of service dispatchers in our markets across Texas. You will play a pivotal role in improving existing processes and shaping the future of L&S Mechanical services to ensure a consistent quality of service and customer satisfaction. The Dispatch Manager will focus on technician quality services, customer satisfaction and achieving company service objectives.
General Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently assign service calls to appropriate technicians based on their skills, availability, and location.
  • Generate accurate and timely quotes for service work based on customer requirements and company pricing guidelines.
  • Collaborate with relevant team members, such as service managers and vendors, to gather necessary information for quoting purposes regarding the call to the technician before they arrive at the location.
  • Track technicians progress throughout the day to ensure efficient scheduling and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain a culture of high-level communication between technicians and all customers regarding service appointments, customer availability, operational challenges, updates and change in ETAs, in a professional and timely manner.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of required materials and equipment.
  • Receive and stage materials as needed for service calls, ensuring they are readily available for technicians.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related industry dispatch and coordination.
  • 3 years minimum leading cross-functional, distributed teams.
  • Project management experience and/or customer relationship management experience preferred.
  • Passion for customer satisfaction and dedication to maintaining high service standards.
  • Strong coaching abilities and efficient management of team operations.
  • Experience in automating operational procedures.
  • Comfortable presenting information and responding to questions from executive leadership, employees, and customers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
