Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development / Commercial Director, experienced in managing client acquisition pipeline for physical security services at private and public levels, to join our team in Miami, US.

You will be responsible for developing, executing, and monitoring business development strategies, identifying new commercial opportunities, managing bidding processes for large projects, developing marketing efforts, promoting the sale of our security services to achieve the company's objectives, generating revenue, fostering sustainable growth, and positioning our brand in the market. You will keep abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to upper management.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement the company's commercial strategy and business development plan to achieve company growth and profitability goals.
  • Implement new client acquisition and client relation strategies, build, and manage customers relationships to address their needs and secure sales.
  • Manage bidding processes for large projects at private and government levels.
  • Promote the sale of the company's services to high-level corporations.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure coordination and alignment with overall business goals.
  • Analyze market trends, statistics and keep abreast of competitor activity to identify client’s needs, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Keep pricing strategies competitive based on market trends, competition analysis, and client’s price sensitivity.
  • Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Assist management in setting financial objectives, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum 5 years previous proven working experience in a Business Development / Commercial role in a PHYSICAL SECURITY Company.
  • Experience in the physical security services sector is a must.
  • Fully Bilingual (Spanish/English).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business goals.
  • Experience in Client Relationship Management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Florida market.
  • Hands on experience in creating reporting and managing budgets.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and time-management skills.
  • Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience managing airport, parking, and facilities services is a big plus.
  • Master's degree or Specializations in Sales and Marketing Management, Key Account Management, Customer Relationship, Business Administration, or similar.
