Position: Staff Accountant

Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000

Type: Temp to Hire, On-Site with Flex Option after Probationary Period

Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm (leave early on Fridays)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in accounting
• Proficient in accounting duties related to global procurement, including audit, cost accounting, general ledger, treasury, cash applications, and fixed assets
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to interact with General Manager and Operations

Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute day-to-day accounting functions related to global procurement
• Conduct audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
• Implement cost accounting methodologies to optimize financial processes
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Oversee treasury functions, including cash management and forecasting
• Process cash applications and monitor receivables
• Track and manage fixed assets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial reporting and analysis
• Provide support in financial decision-making processes
• Continuously assess and improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Communicate effectively with the General Manager and Operations to address financial queries and insights
