You are a personable, physically fit, responsible individual that can move furniture by loading items into and out of moving trucks. Movers are responsible for ensuring that
items are undamaged and placed in the correct position in the new location. To be successful, you must have stamina to perform manual duties that often require strength. You can/will assist in planning the most efficient way to pack/load items into the moving truck.
· Wrap furniture in protective material.
· Pack, load, unload and unpack items with care.
· Ensure that no items are damaged while moving.
· Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location
· Take inventory of items and ensure that no items are lost during transportation.
· Listen and take direction from crew lead or driver.
· Physically fit, can lift at least 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day.
· Punctual and present.
· Professional demeanor.
· Ability to operate standard tools.
· Good communication skills.
· Good hygiene.
· Friendly.
· Available to work varying hours and weekends.
· Pass a background check.
· Participate in drug testing program.
· A driver’s license would be advantageous.
