We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Technician to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.

Position Overview: As a Forklift Technician at LNF Distributors, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and servicing a wide range of forklifts and material handling equipment. Your expertise will ensure that equipment operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. The position will require weekly travel to the McAllen and Harlingen branches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various types of forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure safe operation.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
• Collaborate with the Parts Department to order necessary replacement parts.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in maintaining an inventory of spare parts and equipment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a forklift technician or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of forklift systems, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Forklift operator certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
