Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment. Safety will be a main priority for you and your fellow team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily flow of the warehouse, schedules, and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
• Responsible for all delivery drivers.
• Hires and trains new employees.
• Responsible for all warehouse operations, including receiving, picking and inventory.
• Check that all trucks are loaded and ready for the delivery day.
• Ensure safety and recommend maintenance improvements in the warehouse by conducting safety training, accident investigations and equipment/facility inspections.
• Check the rotation of stock for close and outdated product in the warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned and assist in other areas as needed.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience or equivalent education and related experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organization, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment is necessary
• Ability to problem solve the product scanner.
• Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. There will be a considerable amount of sitting and using the computer. You may be required to occasionally lift to 50 pounds and use powered industrial equipment.
