Kyverna Therapeutics is Hiring a Research Associate II (In Vivo) Near Emeryville, CA

Kyverna Therapeutics is recruiting a Research Associate II to join its Research organization. Reporting to a Scientist, the Research Associate will be responsible for performing in vitro and in vivo work to evaluate CAR-T cell phenotype and functionality in support of current pipeline and future development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection of data from in vivo studies evaluating the potency, biodistribution, and persistence of CAR T cells in mouse models, including bioluminescence imaging and tissue processing
  • Carry out preclinical in vitro assays evaluating the phenotype and functional activity of engineered CAR T cells
  • Assist in data analysis and the communication of results to program teams
  • Work with Scientists and Research Associates across the Research department to advance program objectives in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology or a related scientific discipline
  • Experience with common mouse handling techniques and procedures (e.g. blood collection, various routes of injections, tissue harvesting)
  • Experience in culture and manipulation of cell lines and primary T cells is desirable
  • Experience with in vitro cell assays and multi-color flow cytometry preferred
  • Technical attention to detail, and experience in maintaining rigorous lab documentation
  • Demonstrated capacity to think creatively when addressing complex situations
  • Self-starter, works effectively in teams in a fast-paced environment

$85,000 - $110,000 a year
\n

The salary range for this position is from $85,000 - $110,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay for this posted position, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation individual education, experience, tenure, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. This position is also eligible for bonus, benefits, and participation in Company’s stock option plan.
