Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience. Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
- Manage waitlists and communicate estimated wait times to guests
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations or inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Handle guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate when necessary
- Provide assistance to servers as needed, such as refilling drinks or delivering food

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
