Hello!

We are a local wholesale and retail full line food distributor based in Las Vegas, NV and looking for a talented and experienced sales representative who has strong food knowledge in the hotel and restaurant industry. Having great customer service skills, follow up, and attention to detail is a must.

Must love food and eating! Extensive sales experience in food industry is not required, as training and support will be provided. A seafood or protein sales background is preferred however. Compensation dependent on industry experience.

Individuals will be working with chefs, buyers, warehouse staff, and food industry professionals on a daily basis. Must be familiar with expectations and requirements and able to predict customer needs and offer valuable suggestions and products.

You must also value and practice attention to detail, be self-motivated, enthusiastic, creative, and able to think outside the box. Candidates must have solid communication and presentation skills. The role includes handling existing accounts but will require opening and maintaining new accounts as well.

Essential job functions, including but not limited to:

• Have strong computer skills and proficiency with emailing and phone calling
• Be familiar with warehouse and sales management programs and Microsoft office Suite
• Have good organization and follow up
• Have good communication internally and externally
• Research customer business needs and developing products and services to meet these needs
• Negotiate with customers to establish competitive pricing and expanding customer orders
• Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company product lines
• Strong commitment and time to become an expert in the company’s products and industry
• Effectively and efficiently work with sales management and other sales personnel
• Exceed customer expectations and predict customer needs
• Contribute to meetings and work with other team members
• Work with accounting team to keep customers current and follow up on collections and invoicing
• Research new products and keep current with industry trends
• Great presentation skills and ability to market effectively
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

Additional Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Travel and business calls required
• Be familiar with Las Vegas area and restaurants and hotels
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Additional language besides English preferred
• Pay and salary dependent on experience

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
