Property Accountant Summary:
- Role Overview: As a vital member of our team, you'll report to the VP of Accounting, contributing to financial excellence.
- Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Maintain records, reconcile accounts, and assist with budgeting processes.
- General Ledger Expertise: Manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Budget Collaboration: Contribute to the development of budgets and performance projections.
- Internal Audits: Play a key role in internal audits, maintaining documentation for accounts payable and treasury.
- Requirements:
- Experience within real estate industry is REQUIRED
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Experience: 4 years of accounting, preferably in multifamily real estate.
- Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Proficiency in GAAP and familiarity with Yardi is a plus.
