KVC Health Systems is Hiring a Therapeutic Foster Case Manager - Waynesville Near Saint James, MO

The Therapeutic Foster Care Case Manager is responsible for linking children in Therapeutic Foster homes to all necessary medical, mental health, educational, vocational, social, and support services as deemed appropriate through the coordination of KVC Missouri and the referring agency.


The
Therapeutic Foster Care Case Manager works to enable the child to be maintained in the least restrictive placement and to transition back to his/her family and community.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science or related degree.

Schedule:

  • You will be on a team based out of our Waynesville, MO office.
  • Flexible - Hybrid, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm schedule.
  • After-hours / Holiday / Weekend on-call rotation.

Experience:

  • One (1) year working with family systems and utilizing community resources.
  • Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment.

Duties:

  • Continuously works toward permanency for each child in the TFC program.
  • Coordinates and facilitates quarterly staffing reviews on all youth.
  • Attends court hearings, family support meetings, and other treatment related meetings.
  • Completes admission intake paperwork within the identified timelines, and completes monthly update letters to parents, agencies, and others in treatment team.
  • Maintains relationships with referring agencies through regular phone contact and documentation of progress of youth.
  • Manage a caseload of youth placed in the TFC Homes.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years old to apply
  • Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid auto insurance
