KVC Health Systems is Hiring a Prevention Services Supervisor Near Kansas, MO

KVC is seeking a Supervisor-Prevention Services!!!

The Supervisor of Prevention Services provides supervision and consultation to the 2Gen Prevention team in order to facilitate/maintain safety, permanency and well-being.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties may be assigned according to qualification of staff and development of programs.

  • To continue to build a prevention services system that is safe, secure, and stable; family centered, connected to the community; and which relies on evidence-based practice necessary to support contract services in Kansas
  • Receive and assign client referrals to staff
  • Provide consistent, high-quality supervision and training to staff including onsite, community and home-based coaching and observation
  • Monitor the overall prevention services being provided to children and families
  • Ensure the implementation of program service plan and carry out the goals and department objectives
  • Serve as a consultant, coach and trainer for staff as needed to support them in skill development
  • Supervise staff, create individual work assignments and evaluate job performance
  • Ensure that treatment plans are developed and individualized for clients and families
  • Review and edit reports and other staff documentation
  • Monitor timeliness and quality of reports and documentation
  • Train and monitor staff on policies and procedures and ensure that policies and procedures are followed
  • Ensure that services are in compliance with all regulatory standards and contract terms and conditions
  • Represent the organization at external meetings if needed
  • Coordinate staff appointments, discharges, disciplinary action, and other personnel issues with the Human Resources Department
  • Attend internal organizational meetings, as assigned
  • Oversee in-service training for staff and ensure the completion of required annual in-service hours and other required trainings
  • Understand contract requirements and work to improve contract specific outcomes
  • Maintain working relationships/communication with DCF and other community partners
  • Assist workers in finding community resources such as housing, utilities, and mental and physical health care
  • Attend required trainings


Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work, professional counseling, or marriage and family therapy with licensure by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB).


Licensure/Certification:

BSRB Licensure within the state of KS

Current Driver’s License and Auto Insurance


Experience:

Three years’ experience in children and family services preferred.

Requires Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Outlook email


Preferred Skills:

Prevention Services and in-home services experience
