Job Summary:
We are seeking recent high school graduates who are interested in working while learning. We are partnering with Parkland College and AGCO Corporation to offer an associates degreee in applied science as a servcie technician with tuition assistance and on-the-job training and competitive wages while you are in school.
As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of agricultural equipment and machinery. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
WE TRAIN ON THE JOB AND OFFER TECH SCHOOL TUITION ASSISTANCE AS WELL.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Repair or replace faulty components or parts
- Conduct tests to ensure proper functioning of equipment after repairs
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to work and study as a Service Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Mechanical aptitude: Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in equipment.
- Electrical knowledge: Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical problems.
